We recommend that you replace your Bestway Lay Z Spa Filter Every 2-4 Weeks upto a maximum of 1 Month, due to their fine filtration media they should not be cleaned with harsh chemicals or pressure washed, replacing the filter after heavy use or a party is a must, lay z spa filters should be checked every 3 days. Sun tan lotion, cosmetics or any similar product should be showered off before using the hot tub as these will block the filter meaning it has to be replaced.

Ordered a box of 12 to last me the year, arrived the next day, couldn't ask for more, filters on the lay z spa do need changing quite regularly and having the box in the shed just makes keeping it clean a lot easier.

  - How regularly do you recommend the lay-z-spa filters need changing and how do I know when they need swapping out?

    Thanks for your question on the layzspa filters.
    They need changing approx every 2-4 weeks. You can tell by the colour of the filter as it starts to discolour from brilliant white the pours get clogged and no longer filter. You can gently hose them out upto one month but after this is should be changed irrespective of the colour. If you open up the pleats with your fingers you will be able to see the dirt. The filter is designed to take out any dirt you can see and the chemicals take out dirt you cant i.e bacteria.
