There are seveal types of pumps used in Hot Tubs & Jacuzzi's:

Circulation pumps

Used to filter and heat the water, usually found on higher end tubs as they consume less power and are scilent.

Jet Pumps

These will provide the massage, they can be found in both single speed and dual speed (lower speed usually replacing the circulation pump) The inlet size are usually 2" or 2.5" (2.5" common on Arctic Spas) and have an outlet of 2". To size a pump it is usually best to go by the amp rating of the pump on high speed. Somewhere between 6 and 13 amps.

Questions we will ask to narrow down your pump:

1. What is the diameter of the inlet and outlet on your hot tub pump
2. Is the outlet inline with the inlet of offset ot one side on your hot tub pump
3. Is the pump two speed (4 wires) or single speed (3 wires)
4. How many amps or Hp is your pump?
