Hot Tub PCB boards always have Relays, They are used to turn on and off the electrical devices connected such as pump, heaters, ozones, blowers etc. Over time relays can fail to work which can cause the attached devices not to turn on and off when they should (and can sometimes get stuck on), this can cause error message or misdiagnosis of a fault attached device.  If you are going to replace a Relay it will need to be carried out by a Professional as you can damage the control board when soldering them. You can normally tell if a relay is faulty by testing for voltage when turning on the attached device (this should always be done by a professional)
