The monitoring and testing of your hot tub is extreemly important to ensure that your water is clean and safe to use. The testing system that you use in your hot tub depends on which sanitizer you use.
All hot tubs need to be tested before use to ensure the water is safe. Test strips measure the Chlorine and Bromine level with in your hot tub, the ideal range is Chlroine 3-5 ppm, Bromine 2-4ppm, pH 7.2 - 7.6. Hot tub water need to be kept between 80 and 120ppm Total Alkinity.
