All of our hot tubs use a dedicated heater that works like a kettle to heat the water flowing through it. The water is passed over the heating element when the pump is on low power and the hot tub not at the temperature, this is set on the control pannel.

Our hot tubs do not use any kind of hot stick, friction heater, or heat recovery technology as we do not believe they are suitable for a british climate. We also believe in keeping our hot tub running for as shorter time as possible to save on electricity. Only hot tubs with a proper heater will be able to heat up the quickest and stop noise comming from the hot tub for long periods especially overnight. This will also save electricity as the pump does not need to run continually to heat the hot tub up.

Our hot tubs also utilise a 2kw heater to enable them to be wired into a standard household cicuit. Hot tubs that are 3kw or greater should NOT be wired into a standard household cicuit and should only have a dedicated line to the hot tub directly from the fuse box. This is more expensive for an electritian to install.
