Stabilised Chlorine Granules 1Kg
Description:
Chlorine is most commonly used sanitiser in a hot tub as it is extremmly
effective at killing bacteria.
They come in granule form as to dissolve quickly. These are 55% Chlorine Granules
are completely soluble and will hardly affect the pH of hot tub
water. As they contain Cyanuric Acid they are automatically stabilised
against destruction of chlorine residual by sunlight.

Instructions for Use:
- To maintain the chlorine level in private pools at a rate of between
2 to 3mg/litre (ppm), add 84g per 45.5m3 per day (3oz per 10,000 gallons).
For schools and hotels, these levels and dosages should be increased
to maintain a minimum of 3mg/litre (ppm). For spas add at a rate of
4.2g/2.27m3 (500 gallons). Maintain a level of 3mg/litre (ppm).
- Pre-dissolve the granules as described below and add to the pool
choosing a period when the pool is not in use. Re-adjust the pH to
between 7.2-7.6 for optimal bather comfort.
- Regularly use a reliable Test Kit to determine Free Chlorine residual/pH
levels and dose the pool accordingly.
- It is good practice to shock treat the pool every 2/3 weeks using
a Granular Shock product.
General Precautions:
Never mix with any other chemicals including cleaning products, weedkillers
and chlorine products, as a dangerous reaction may occur.Always handle
products in a well ventilated area, preferably outdoors. When pre-dissolving
products always use a clean plastic container. If in doubt wash thoroughly
before use. When dissolving products always add product to water and
not vice versa. Use only 100g of product per 10 litres of water each
treatment. Repeat treatments if required.Always wash hands thoroughly
after handling pool chemicals. Store in a cool dry place. Ensure chemicals
do not become damp in storage. Instructions and dosages given are a guide
for most effective use.
